The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: Dawnguard Details and Release date
Not to be left out of the E3 2012 loop, Bethesda’s first piece of DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim entitled Dawnguard has gotten some new details.
Capped at around 20 hours of content, Dawnguard gives players the option to become a vampire lord or a vampire hunter, a Dawnguard. The story behind Dawnguard is still unknown. So far, we know that once you become a vampire lord, you gain a new form. As a vampire lord, you have your own perk tree to unlock new powers and skills. Abilities will range from feasting on blood, summoning a Gargoyle to fight and a vampire grip that pulls in victims and hurl them. Werewolf players will also get there own perk tree as well. Crossbow will be the new weapon in Dawnguard, in addition with mounted combat and new crafting option with the strongest material in the game, dragon bone. Here’s a gameplay preview from g4tv.com with director Todd Howard.
Skyrim: Dawnguard is set to release on June 26. But if your feeling lucky, you might be selected for the Dawnguard beta next week. You can sign up from here http://dawnguardbeta.elderscrolls.com/form.php
